Welcome to the home page of the McKinney Duplicate Bridge Club (MDBC), a group that organized in August 2012 and has grown to 143 members , ranging from 7.5 to 15 tables per game. It's been a grand slam for area bridge enthusiasts due to several factors: our location at the McKinney Salvation Army facility at 600 Wilson Creek Parkway, leadership provided by Director Dorsey Shaw, club president Melba Lancaster, the active Board and our members. The MDBC and Salvation Army partnership is not only a winner for members who pay a minimal fee to play in a spacious, well lighted gym but also for the community that is served by the Salvation Army. Each week members generously contribute food items to the local Salvation Army pantry, as well as clothing items, money, and volunteer hours. The cost of a regular game is $6 and $7 for the Charity Game scheduled on the first Thursday of the month. (Non members can add $1 to each fee .

Lastly, when you think of the new McKinney bridge club, think of three words: Community, Charity, and Commitment...all in the team spirit of our "mental" sport.
